1985
Having 25 years of experience in the field of heavy chemicals and engineering, and after establishing several industries both in India and abroad, our founder Shri. Ramesh Manglik began pursuing his own vision. He set up a business in chemical and timber trading, as well as provided consultancy for setting up heavy chemical plants.
1987
During the course of providing consultancy, he sensed the lack of good quality equipment, which was hindering the efficiency of many chemical industries. This led him to establish Rasyantrik Udyog, an engineering unit focused on manufacturing chemical (rasayan) plant machinery (yantra) in Chandrapur.
1995
With the advent of his son, Deepak Manglik, a mechanical engineer with Masters in business administration, the group quickly gained momentum. He anticipated an immense growth in the power sector and established a second unit, Deepak Engineering, with the vision of diversifying the group.
2000
The company saw a major expansion with the installation of new, specialised machines. This was accompanied by the fabrication of stainless steel equipment and spares.
2005
We started reconditioning and superconditioning of critical equipment/components of power plants like Coal burner assembly, Journal assembly and screw conveyors to name a few.
2010
We used our expertise of wear components to provide quality spares and venture into the cement sector.
2015
The increasing demand of our customers for our high quality and long-lasting products was making our current infrastructure a bottleneck.
Hence, we decided to lay the foundation of our third unit, Ferrous Engineering, spread over 1,60,000 sq. ft. at Tadali MIDC in Chandrapur, specializing in heavy engineering jobs up to 15 tons.
2017
With our versatile experience and quality work, we secured our first order of Ordinance Factory for Pinaka Rocket Pods followed by several other orders.
2018
EWAC authorised reclamation centre in central India.
2019
Authorised wear part centre of Hardox.
2020
Launch of Ferrous Automations Pvt. Ltd. in Chakan, Pune for manufacturing automated material handling equipments.

Ferrous enjoys an excellent reputation for its products and its focus is on customer satisfaction. The overall reliability and performance of our equipment / systems are guaranteed by the fact that our products are manufactured in-house or sourced from highly reliable vendors with whom we have developed close working relationships.
